Riverbend Cabinets, LLC is a 3rd generation cabinet and millwork shop located in Denison, Tx. My grandfather, Troy McAlister, started Troy's Cabinet Shop in a small garage behind his house on Morton St. in 1961. In 1965, Troy bought 8 acres at the end Yellow Jacket Rd. That land included buildings that had previously housed the Yellow Jacket Boat Company. It is in these same buildings that 3 generations of McAlisters have built cabinets. Eldon McAlister, my father, took over the shop in the mid 1980's and re-named the shop T&L Cabinets, in honor of my grandparents, Troy and Lillian. In 2006 we incorporated and have been operating as Riverbend Cabinets, LLC ever since.
